Electrical Services Waterloo

Knob-and-tube and aluminium wiring are the two things insurers flag first, and both are common in older Waterloo properties. We replace them in stages if the budget calls for it, starting with the circuits that matter most, and supply the documentation your insurer asks for at renewal.

For dead outlets, flickering lights, and breakers that will not reset, we find why the circuit is failing before anything gets replaced. A new breaker on a faulty circuit only hides the problem for a while.

A Level 2 charger needs a dedicated circuit and a free double-pole slot, so the job starts with a ten-minute load check rather than a guess. Electrical Services Ontario installs chargers across Waterloo on properly sized circuits, and handles the rebate paperwork with the install.

Most attached-garage installs come down to the length of the cable run and whether the panel has room. You get a fixed written price before any work starts, and a permit and inspection on every install.

When the grid drops, an automatic transfer switch decides whether your furnace, sump pump, and fridge keep running. Electrical Services Ontario sizes standby generators for Waterloo properties from real load rather than a catalogue number, so the unit carries what you actually need it to.

Every install is commissioned and tested under load before we hand it over, and we walk you through the transfer switch so you know exactly what happens the first time the power goes out.
